Which smallville guy is for you

Where Smallville is concerned, fans were given a brief cameo appearance of a Green Lantern shown in photos and flashbacks of the old JSA team of the s. Which Green Lantern was shown, though? For years, the mantra behind Smallville from the powers that be was 'no tights, no flights' in order to make it clear to fans that they shouldn't be expecting Clark Kent to suit up as Superman any time soon.

Of course, CK would finally embrace his destiny and go on to don the iconic Superman suit, with a huge TV audience cheering him on as he did so. In what season, though, did Clark finally first put on the legendary Superman suit? Just look at that beautiful mane of hair! It doesn't get much smoother than Lionel Luthor; a character who was initially just a bit-part guest star during the show's first season.

By that second year, John Glover's Lionel was a series regular who would be a constant part of the show until the seventh season. In said Season 7, Lionel would be shockingly killed off.

Thinking back, who was the person who actually murdered Lionel Luthor towards the end of Season 7? Like any TV show, Smallville had its one-off characters, its guest stars, and then its series regulars who appeared in more episodes than most.

Basically, that means that there are several names who appeared in way, way more episodes that the average bear. Given that the focus of the show was, y'know, Clark Kent, Tom Welling was rightly at the centre of the show throughout its year run. Is it true or false, however, that Welling was the only person to appear in every single Smallville episode?

So often a show can instantly strike the right note with an audience by having a great theme tune. And boy, did Smallville have a great opening theme tune! It was one of those songs that you could never get enough of, and we're sure you yourself likely played the song over and over and over again at times. We know we sure did.

The song itself was called Save Me, but which band performed this ridiculously catchy little number? Taking on the name Kara Kent, this feisty, fearless hero would be a focal point of the show for a few seasons. In what season of the show did the Kara character make her first appearance in Smallville, though? Arguably the most popular character of Smallville to certain fans was Chloe Sullivan. Created specially for the show, Chloe became an instant favorite of the geek community for her nerdy ways and awkward charm.

So popular did she become, the character even incorporated in to the DC comic book realm. Like others, Chloe would have her dabbles in love and romance, and she'd eventually get married in Season The important matter here, though, is who did she end up marrying? One of the most fan-pleasing parts of Smallville was how it brought in several peoples with already-existing ties to the DC world and, in particular, the history of Superman. All clearly have plenty of history with the world of the Man of Steel.

Out of these four, which member of 'Super' alum never had any involvement in The CW's Smallville, though? As well as having Clark Kent positioned as Superman-in-waiting, Smallville also gave us several other DC heroes who were at varying stages in their own journey.

Some heroes were in the early days of their hero career, others were further along that path, others were seasoned veterans, and some weren't even aware that they were a hero.

Listed here we have four DC heroes who appeared in Smallville and went on to prove their mettle. Which one of these was the first to appear in the show, though? Still, the point is, the show was pretty damn great and lasted for a long, long time. While in terms of seasons it clocked in at a plentiful ten seasons, how many episodes in total did Smallville have during its run?

You may not know this, but Michael Rosenbaum has a pretty impressive career as a voice actor in addition to his live-action appearances in the likes of Smallville and Urban Legend. In fact, while he was playing Lex Luthor in Smallville, he was also lending his vocals for the much-acclaimed Justice League animated series of the time. In that show, he actually voiced several characters at different times - but which of the famed DC superheroes listed here did Rosenbaum provide vocals for?

Jensen Ackles is a huge deal these days for his starring role in the ridiculously popular Supernatural. Back during the fourth season of Smallville, though, Ackles became a key part of the show as Jason Teague.

Of course, when Smallville was first putting its core cast of characters together, many an actor was in consideration for the huge roles of Clark Kent and Lex Luthor. Is it true or false, though, that Jensen Ackles was the second choice to play Lex if Michael Rosenbaum turned down the role?

In the very first season of Smallville, we saw the Talon become an ongoing piece of the show. Formerly a movie theater, it was purchased early on in the series' run by none other than Mr. Moneybags himself, Lex Luthor - who then turned it into a coffee shop, bookstore and general hang-out location. While Lex was the owner, though, there was somebody who initially ran the Talon for Luthor. So, getting to the matter at hand, who was it that ran the Talon for Lex?

In fact, she left the show before Smallville had even run its course, which was pretty devastating to some of Smallville's biggest fans.

On paper, she's just a sterotypical, simple mother figure, but the show proved that she could be much more. She become a senator, and she never failed to show her intelligence.

Of course, Clark Kent wasn't the only hero in the story. Far from it. Aside from the other characters who were good people and great influences on Clark, there were also plenty of other Superheroes that Clark interacted with. This character is a prime example of that, possibly the best example. He actually now has his own show, and it's become incredibly successful.

A lot of fans loved this character. This is probably the most obvious question in this entire quiz, but it wouldn't really feel complete unless we mentioned him. He is of course the main character of the entire show, and we got to know him very well over the course of this amazing series. The actor totally fit the character he was playing, and he really grew as a person throughout the show's many episodes.

But do you actually know the name of this memorable Smallville character? Of all the characters in the show, this one probably won the most fans. There was something really lovable about this quirky friend to Clark, and as the series progressed, we learned that there was much, much more than meets the eye.

We initially meet her in the high school Clark attends, and she befriends Clark pretty early on. The first few seasons focus on the friendship between her, Pete and Clark.

Here's another character that will be pretty easy to identify, and aside from Clark he might just be the most important character in the entire show. In the first few seasons at least, one of the most interesting things about Smallville is that we not only get to see Clark's beginnings, but also that of his arch-nemesis.

He starts off fairly innocent, but quickly spirals down into utter evil. This is definitely one of the most interesting villains to ever appear in the Smallville universe. He was completely inhuman, and that's what made him so scary. He was in fact an artificial intelligence constructed by Jor-El back on Krypton.

But eventually, he becomes corrupted by Zod and unleashed on Earth. He creates all kinds of havoc, and has a tendency to keep coming back even after he supposedly dead. Here's another one of the most interesting character to ever appear in Smallville, and this one kind of defies classification. What we mean is he's not really a villain, yet he's also not really a friend or an ally to the main characters.

He was actually sent by Lionel Luthor to spy on Lana Lang, and he was also experimented on using strange technology to resurrect him from the dead. The law enforcement officials around the small town of Smallville don't play a major role in the story, but they have their moments. One of the more memorable characters of this type was this Sheriff. She actually took over from another Sheriff who was around for the first few seasons, and that character was given the boot because of his corruption.

This character did everything by the book, a total opposite of her predecessor. This doctor was one of the most interesting characters in the entire show, even though he didn't stick around for very long.

As you can see, the actor who portrayed this character is none other than Christopher Reeves. If you're not aware of who this is, he played the original character of Superman. The inclusion of this legendary actor in the series was a wonderful choice, and one that fans loved.

When we first get introduced to the town of Smallville, this man is the Sheriff. Because of all the strange things that happen in this town, we actually see a lot of him. He's always trying to clean up the huge messes caused by Clark's insane powers, and he can never quite figure out what's going on in his own town.

Of course, he's also guilty of being corrupt, which is why he loses his position. This doctor also became a pretty major character as the seasons progressed, and we got to know her pretty well.

Initially, she works at the Smallville medical center, and treats the many people who visit the hospital for strange injuries. Later, she becomes Lex's wife, and they get involved in some strange situations together. Throughout the series, we can't quite figure out whether she's a good or bad person. Here's another interesting character in Smallville, although he doesn't really come in until some of the later seasons. When Clark and Chloe start to work at the Daily Planet, he ends up being their boss.

He's also instrumental in hiring Lois Lane, who ends up being one of the best characters in the entire series. But this character also has a dark secret - he's actually a clone of one of the Luthor children. Here's another simply awesome hero that makes an appearance in Smallville. We've said before that Clark isn't the only superhero that appears in this show, but Oliver Queen isn't the only one. There's also this character, who is as mysterious as he is powerful.

While at first we have no idea who he is, we start to learn more about him, and he actually provides some interesting insight into Clark's past. Probably one of the best characters in the entire series, fans rejoiced when this one was introduced.

We got to know her pretty well over the course of the series, and the actress who played this character did an amazing job of capturing the comic book character that we're so familiar with. She had attitude, she had guts, and she was anything BUT a damsel in distress. Definitely a fan favorite.

Here's another cool hero that appears in the Smallville universe, and this one was also pretty well-received. This character is of course incredibly fast, and later got his very own show except with a different actor.

Interestingly, because of DC trademark issues, they couldn't actually refer to this character by his proper name - yet everyone knew exactly who he was.

The crazy thing about this character is that he's even faster than Clark. Here's another interesting and awesome hero that appears in the Smallville cast, and he's actually one of the Justice League. Eventually, the show switches from telling the story of Clark's humble beginnings to a much more mature tale, and this character was definitely a big part of that.

Smallville starts to tell the story of the Justice League, which this character i heavily involved with. He has some amazing powers. As the show started to focus more and more on the Justice League, other characters started to take center stage, and we're not just talking about the various heroes.

There were also some new villains added to the storyline, although it wasn't clear that this guy was evil until much later on. This villain is a wealthy businessman with some amazing powers up his sleeve as well. This might be a challenge. Here's another strange villain that might be hard for some people to identify. As you can tell from the photo, it's obvious that this character is played by the same actor as the one who plays Clark Kent.

But these two characters are very, very different. This character was created in a Kryptonian lab, and originally didn't look like Clark. Here's another villain, although this one is probably one of the more forgettable. If you're a Smallville fan then I bet you, like so many others, would like to find out who's your total match out of the characters in the sixth season!

Take this quiz and you'll know! Are you a Clark Kent? Or a Lex Luthor? Maybe you're a photographer like Jimmy Olsen? In just a matter of minutes you'll know the truth about yourself!
